Ethical leadership in times of crisis: A call for action |
 |
Dear
As global funding for humanitarian aid and development faces unprecedented cuts, the need for ethical leadership and responsible governance has never been more urgent. At the Geneva roundtable co-hosted by Arigatou International and Globethics, experts sounded the alarm on the ethical dilemmas posed by shifting donor priorities and shrinking resources. When financial constraints dictate humanitarian responses, how do we ensure that aid remains both effective and ethically grounded?
Now is the time for bold, collective action. The crisis is not just about financial survival but about reaffirming our shared responsibility to uphold human dignity, justice, and sustainability. At Globethics, we remain committed to fostering ethical leadership that prioritises transparency, collaboration, and long-term impact. In an era where competition for resources risks eroding fundamental values, we must stand firm in advocating for governance models that place ethics at the core. The future of humanitarian aid - and the lives it supports - depends on it.
We invite you to be part of this vital dialogue. Engage with us as we continue to drive excellence in ethical leadership through education, collaboration, and advocacy. Explore what we’ve achieved so far in 2025 and discover how you can contribute to shaping a future where ethics remain at the heart of decision-making.
