We’re excited to announce the launch of the Globethics Repository, a completely redesigned, AI-enhanced platform for global ethics research.
Formerly known as the Globethics Library, this new hub offers intuitive navigation, full-text access, and smart AI-powered search recommendations—making it easier than ever to explore our curated collections on ethics in education, governance, sustainability, technology, and more. |
Integrated into the Globethics Knowledge Hub as the Information and Documentation (InfoDoc) Unit, the Repository is now the central reference point for Globethics publications and knowledge resources. This shift marks a significant step toward a more tailored, user-centric experience designed to meet the needs of Globethics’ global community. |
As we launch the upgraded Repository—now live on a modern DSpace instance powered by Atmire—we extend our deep gratitude to Andreas Waldvogel and Anja Andriamasy for their outstanding dedication over the past ten years and for their leadership in shaping this new phase as they leave the team. Their contributions have been instrumental in conceptualising InfoDoc and strengthening Globethics’ knowledge services. Stewardship of the Repository now passes to Cheryl Peltier-Davis, Globethics’ Repository Manager and Information Specialist, who will guide its continued development.
Watch this space for new training and tutorials, reference and research services coming soon! |

"Decolonising ethics means making space for plural moral perspectives that integrate African histories, values, and contexts alongside Western frameworks. It begs the question: what does responsibility look like when grounded in African realities—where community well-being, human dignity, and stewardship of shared resources are central?" |
